Virtela's Internet Protocol Security (IPsec) Virtual Private Network (VPN) service provides highly secure access VPN for telecommuters and mobile workers with PCs running Microsoft® Windows® operating systems. The Virtela IPsec client is designed to support business users' IP services, combining standards-based IPsec features, a built-in personal firewall, and centralized management to deliver a totally secure, scalable solution that is easy to install, administer, and use. The IPsec client securely encrypts communications via IPsec Encapsulating Security Payload (ESP) with DES and Triple-DES.

Virtela provides IPsec client distribution and updates, concentrator management, and 24x7 monitoring, management, and troubleshooting of the entire solution. We also can provide new equipment, leverage equipment hosted within the Virtela network, or Virtela can manage a customer's existing equipment.
