MSPWorld discusses varying cloud solutions for businesses

Thursday, February 02, 2012

During the first week of February, Miami will be a hot-spot for professionals in the cloud services industry. The respective conferences ITEXPO and MSPWorld will both take place at the Miami Beach Convention Center, and will raise awareness of the business side of cloud computing within the IT world.

MSPWorld's website states that topics of debate will include the fusion of managed service providers with the cloud industry, and how Software as a Service (SaaS) is best offered to customers. The panel discussions will evaluate the challenges of cloud Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and offer advice on how to implement them in a business strategy.

In the same building, ITEXPO will feature the latest innovations in cloud technology, from mobile device management to Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS). Presenters will showcase new applications and platforms, and detail how small businesses can use them to succeed. Voice over Internet protocol (VoiP) is also set to be a major topic.

Keynote speakers at ITEXPO include Timothy Wagner, the Vice President and General Manager of Samsung, and Dirk Gates, CEO of Xirrus. MSPWorld will feature experts like Julius P. Knapp, the chief of the Federal Communications Commissions Office of Engineering Technology.
