APPNATION conference to discuss business trends of cloud computing
Friday, January 13, 2012
On January 12th in San Francisco, senior business executives from around the world gathered for a symposium on the current
cloud computing market and the future of the industry.
The event enlisted the help of major figures from the IT industry to form a keynote speaking panel. Experts such as Stephen Brodsky, a distinguished engineer and architect at IBM, lectured those in attendance on the challenges that business executives will endure in the face of increasing workload, and how the mobility of
cloud services can offer integrated solutions.
Some of the crucial issues that were discussed included the impact of social media marketing, choosing the right mobile application through
managed services and the best forms of information
security. Also featured were open debates with IT CEOs, CIOs and investors on how to stimulate economic growth in the industry. Since the event only took place over a single day, the emphasis was on providing access to as much information as possible - something very similar to the idea of the cloud itself.
