2012 conferences to offer industry education on cloud computing
Monday, January 16, 2012
The
cloud computing industry is so full of scientific terms and technical lingo that a non-tech business looking to upgrade to
cloud services might need to hire an IT translator. However, several conferences are currently being planned to educate the average business owner about the benefits and potential applications of cloud computing.
Zenith Infotech is partnering with Comp TIA to create a series of international meetings that promote technical education to those unfamiliar with cloud computing. Entitled "Cloud Check - What's Your Next Move," the conferences will also outline healthy business practices to
managed service providers who are already experts in providing cloud services.
"There is no one-size-fits-all strategy for moving to the cloud. Thoughtful evaluation, comprehensive planning and technical savvy are required," said Kelly Ricker, a senior vice president at CompTIA.
"Cloud Check - What's Your Next Move" will begin a tour in the United States in January 2012 and move to the Middle East and southeast Asia, and other organizers are planning separate conferences. The "Interop - Discover IT" symposium will take place in October of 2012 and will offer similar advice on cloud computing integration and
managed security services. "CLOSER 2012" will take place in Portugal in the spring of 2012 and discuss the latest advantages in the cloud industry.
