Project Manager & Quote Administrator - India

Location: India

This position will be responsible for project managing Virtela Communications, Inc. Projects and Implementations for partners and customers based in Europe, Asia Pacific and domestic United States. The position requires after hours in addition to normal daytime hours in a fast-paced environment to effectively communicate and respond to all customer and partner needs.

Professional Qualifications

• Project Management background and experience in telecom/data basics and or telecom engineering is highly desired.
• PMP certification or, current studies and work towards the PMP certification is highly desired.
• Ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, a self-starter and highly motivated with an extreme sense of urgency.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Responsible for delivering high levels of customer satisfaction, by ensuring solution delivered to customer requirements.
• Ensure full technical definitions are achieved as per Description of Work.
• Manage technical delivery resource assigned to virtual project team.
• Ensure full hand over into support is achieved successfully prior to full customer acceptance.
• Ideal candidate will also have PM experience in a weak-matrixed organization where the ability to establish relationships with separate functional department resources will be key to project success.
• Work under a controlled and structured project management framework that follows industry standards (PMI) and meets customer requirements.
• Effective change management control within projects.
• Provide timely and accurate reporting as specified.
• Proactively manage and resolve project issues, risks and conflicts.
• Ensure that all projects are delivered within scope, time, budget and quality.
