Pricing Manager - India

Location: India

The Pricing Manager will be responsible for the creation and management of the pricing of all solutions and products.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and define appropriate price guidelines and bid strategy for all products.
  • Develop our effective segmentation strategy and variance based analysis to define floor and ceiling price points.
  • Define and manage approval process through regular reviews of price variance charts and metrics.
  • Lead effective price reviews on large opportunities with cross-functional divisional staff teams.
  • Assist in close strategy.
  • Provide management with monthly metrics including win/loss tracking, quote variance to guidelines, sell price trends, speed to quote, etc.
  • Determine appropriate list prices and discounts based on analysis of market climate and competition product life cycle
  • Work with pricing and sales managers to resolve costing, pricing and profitability issues.
  • Managing and interpreting customer requirements - speaking with sales teams and other technical experts to understand, anticipate and meet their price needs;
  • Negotiates tender and contract terms to meet both client and company needs;
  • Negotiates and closes sales by agreeing terms and conditions; analyzing costs and sales;
  • Prepares reports for head office;
  • Helps in the design of custom-made products;
  • Strong background in network planning and design
  • Network Optimization and/or cost reductions experience
  • Local Access and or other Telecom Pricing team experience
  • MPLS, and IPVPN experience
  • Knowledge of Access technologies (Private line, Frame, MPLS, ATM, etc)
  • Planning and analysis skills
  • Excellent and written communication skills
  • The ability to motivate and drive change within the organization

Professional Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant planning and/or analysis experience. Telecom background strongly preferred.
  • BE and / or postgraduate qualifications
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Team player and excellent communication skills
  • Advanced Excel modelling
  • Customer Service Orientation
